No, you were quite obviously guilty of drama there, even if you didn't quite give the same performance as the ragequitter earlier in the thread. Sorry.

Yeah, change = bad.

If that is true then you should have been using Ursan (since it is the most effective/overpowered POS in the game).
You didn't use what is most effective. You used what was fun. You still can.

Holy Cow, Necros got all the love, Sins the shaft.

Siphon Speed has been destroyed, Shadow Prison and Dark Prison will soon have 2 seconds duration at 16 Deadly Arts, so sad!

Watch Yourself - WAAAH. I agree to the guy on the Wiki, I liked to use it with Soldier's Stance.

Not happy. Thanks for the necro buffs, but this update was quite "bold":

Wail of Doom seems to be very powerful, and some skills were nerfed into oblivion. I do not like skills getting destroyed like that. And overbuffing is also not nice.

BTW:
* Fixed a bug that could allow Kurzick players to leave their gated areas early in the Alliance Battle map Kaanai Canyon.

Wow... it has finally been fixed. Did they put some more fences there?...^^

I have to say, I'm really hating the general assumption that "complaining about this from a PvE perspective" is equivalent to saying "NOOOOOOO IT R ALL RUINED". It's not: it's...a complaint. Not a statement of ruination, merely a statement of irritation.

Let's have a fun and random example:

Imagine you were to wake up one morning and, hey: feel like some toast for breakfast. You go over to the toaster and find that...wtf? It only fits half-slices now.

Apparently the toast-crusaders of south-east mongolia have been making themselves morbidly obese on full slices of toast, and that's bad, m'kay?

So all toast must now be made in half slices. Everywhere.

So, yeah: it doesn't ruin your breakfast, but it does make it take slightly longer to prepare, and..well, why the hell should you have to be inconvenienced because of some weirdoes miles away that have nothing to do with you?

It's irritating. See?

How so?

And are you seriously saying you would have no problem AT ALL with being forced to adjust your breakfasting habits because someone miles away had a problem with it? I find that...bizarre more than anything else.

I'm happy with Assassin, Elementalist, Necromancer and Mesmer's Update except Wail of Doom elite. It was better... and now? Someone mentioned arcane echo + wail of doom on healer. (Maybe! I'd have to test)

For Ele... HAHAHAHA! I'm SO happy fire got tune down. And it never bother me because I'm a Pro-Water Ele! With Rodgort nerf.... Fire Ele will go back to Searing Flame, and I will use F-Armor to immune burning. The only Ele nerf I hate is Frozen Burst's 8 sec recharge time.

We already have Ice Spike with 10 sec recharge + normal spell range, and the new Improved 2 sec Deep Freeze.... Frozen Burst will only be useful if you keep the short recharge time + no aftercast!

Some people whin about Sin don't have advantage? He/she must be kidding... the teleport, instant fast kill etc... So I like more nerf on sin. (Even though I also have a sin, but I'm more on the deadly art caster side)

Solution: unfortunately you have to get rid of or leave behind the people that got you to where you are and move forward, because eventually they'll take you back to where you stared. Nowhere.
hate to break your little fantasy egg there pal, but every game that has even had any multiplayer to it has had a balance or update of some sort.

haha, pvp'ers whine the most about skill balances.

Ancestor's Rage got raped, looks like UW Rt/W farming is going to need an alt skill.

Looks like D/A running is going to be slightly harder.

Yeah every game thats pvp, 5 million people didnt buy the game to pvp, just go to your local RA and count how many people are there then goto an town and count that. Im a hardcore pvp'er myself except this game and ill tell you what this game is not PVP, not even close. It could be but at the expense of 4.999 million customers who could care less about it. I understand the need for balance in pvp, but this game isnt one, and balancing a game for the minority at the expense of the majority is bad business wich anet will eventually learn.

When any game has any form of Player vs Player Combat in it, that category will ALWAYS take precedence for skill balance.

End of discussion.

5 million people didn't buy the game, 5 million copies were sold. I'd count for 4 people.

Yeah, because they definitely want to keep that 1% of their players happy.

You're actually wrong, in general, but in GW it's a fact that PvP takes precedence over PvE. ANet is a black sheep.

All you people complaining about nerfs, why are you playing an MMO anyway? Whether it's PVP or PVE balance, nerfs happen in pretty much any online world.

The excessive drama over the skill nerfs is what gets me. If you're going to cry about nerfs, don't buy a genre of game that constantly evolves/devolves.

Most of the changes aren't too bad. But some of them are totally wtf?

Mystic Regeneration, Flame Djinn's Haste, and Watch Yourself nerfs... wtf? They were fine when they were nerfed before, why overnerf them into oblivion now? I can't imagine what kind of PvP 'elitist' would whine about those skills seeing as how they aren't even used all that often in GvG with the exception of WY!, and even then it's way overkill.

And yeah, also getting tired of the dev's catering to the elitist PvPers at the expense of the large majority of GW.

The only thing that can be certain, is that Anet logic will become more and more mystifying with every update. They buff skills that are already good, and continue to render uselss skills that have already been basically ruined(Anet should be imprisoned for the way they have brutally raped WY, Mystic Regen, etc).

Like has been said before, Instead of nerfing all skills in the popular builds, they should be a little more creative in buffing all the skills that have never been considered for use, thus attaining balance in new and creative ways, making everyone happy

P.S. Sabway was an absolute rip-shit rampage before, and only seems to get better.

Agreed.

These nerfs not only don't hinder your playstyle, they give you new options.

It's not like you people do anything but Searing Flames spam anyway with Ursan

Hello OP necros.

One thing I do like about this update is the second half of the change to siphon speed. IMO it shouldn't have had its time nerfed, but the 50% while moving forces the sin class to take a bit more skill to play when running it. But still the nerf is too big. 20 Second recharge, revert duration. It wasn't THAT broken it was just good in the meta.

Shroud is now a wimpy blackout.

And wail of doom is now beyond broken. This increases the power of spike teams to the point where no other build can stand a chance. Revert immediately please.

You realize that even with zero attributes in Infuse Health it still heals for 100% of the health loss, or ~250-300 health, more then enough to save you from a spike.
